Rhyme Scheme Checker
Paste a stanza, one line per row. Each line's last word is compared by its rhyming sound — from the last stressed vowel to the end of the word, the standard definition of a true rhyme — and matching lines get the same letter.
What this catches, and what it doesn't
This checks true (exact) rhyme by sound, not spelling — "love" and "dove" match because they sound alike, and "love" and "move" correctly don't, even though the spelling suggests otherwise. It does not currently detect slant rhyme (near-rhymes like "heart" and "far"), which many real poems use deliberately — those will show as different letters here even though a poet may intend them as connected.
